Very pleased with the completion of our metal roof. The crew was a pleasure to work with. There was a small issue with some material that needed to be ordered to complete the job. These kind of things happen. John explained it to me and offered a couple of ways to go until the material arrived. We decided on a course of action and when material was here, they came back and finished up. I appreciate the great communication. When the job was finished, you would never know they were here. The clean up was fantastic. Best of all, at the completion of the job, there were no suprise additional charges. Great job Better Way.

They did a great job. I have checked inside the attic and no leaks a month later that included some driving rain storms, downpour(s) and an EF-2 tornado.

We had multiple roofers come out for quotes and these guys had the best offer with the best customer service. While meeting with all the different roofers Better Way made me feel the most comfortable and confident that the job could get done exactly how we wanted it and they made it happen!! They did a total replacement and added a ridge line for ventilation! Very happy with the outcome!!

I just had my roof done by Betterway Roofing, and they did a phenomenal job. The crew was fast, professional, and cleaned up so well you wouldn't even know they were here. The roof looks great, but I wanted to leave this review specifically to pass along some massive information I learned while getting ready for this project. Before buying, I spent hours watching YouTube videos and researching how roofing warranties actually work. Like most people, I thought if you bought high-quality Owens Corning shingles, you automatically got their big manufacturer warranty. Turns out, that is a total myth. If you hire just any random, uncertified roofer to slap those shingles down, Owens Corning only covers a defective shingle out of the box. If that uncertified guy makes a mistake installing it and it leaks two years from now, Owens Corning won't pay a dime to fix it. And if that roofer goes out of business, you are completely holding the bag. Through all my research, I learned that to get a real warranty, the contractor has to be officially certified by Owens Corning. That's why I went with Betterway. Because they have those factory credentials, it unlocks the major extended warranties. It means Owens Corning itself guarantees the materials for up to 50 years and, the biggest thing for me, they actually back the installation workmanship. If the original roofer vanishes a decade from now, a multi-billion-dollar manufacturer still has your back. My homework also showed me that certified crews have to use the entire Owens Corning system (the right underlayment, ice barriers, and vents) instead of cutting corners with cheap, off-brand materials that disqualify the warranty. Betterway did an incredible job on the physical roof, but hiring them was really about the peace of mind that my investment is legally locked in and protected for decades. If you are getting roofing quotes, do yourself a favor: don't just look at the brand of shingles, make sure the crew putting them on is actually certified to give you the real warranty. Highly recommend these guys! P.S. I had my home, my garage, and even my shed done!

Better Way roofing was recommended by my insurance company because many of their clients used Better Way and were happy. In addition one of the office staff had used them and was very satisfied. Our experience was positive the whole way through. We actually had two roofs to be evaluated. One roof had areas of severe granulation loss and was recommended for replacement. The salesman showed pictures of the loss and I'd seen it for myself. The other roof they said could wait 3-5 years. The crew was excellent working hard and carefully. It was a two day job and rain was possible and they covered the roof overnight. No rain occurred and they finished the next day. Clean up was great and yard and landscape were undamaged.

A piece of fascia on the front of my home was damaged in high winds. I called and was told that there were many homes damaged and that they would get to my house as soon as they could. Like ninjas they showed up on a Saturday when I was not home. I happened to notice Sunday while working in the yard. Beautifully done, like the damage never happened. It was such a small job and yet they got in and did it! It's hard to find a company that will take a small job as seriously as Big jobs And so I'm very grateful that companies like this still exist.

Fast and the best service! Highly recommend these guys. They replaced our entire roof, patio roof and added gutters.

Better way was great to work with. I interviewed 7 companies and decided to with them based on their knowledge, and technology to send photos of the plans as they wrote up the quote in the truck. They were patient and understanding that as a new homeowner we needed their knowledge to make the best choice for use. They didn't just use satellite images and send you a quote via email. Their price fell right in the middle of everyone's quotes but ultimately I felt like they listened to what we wanted. They were able to come out the very next week and the installers were great. When they noticed we needed a downspout in a different spot, they were able to explain why and ask if that's what we were okay with. They have a 10 year warranty on the gutters and the manufacturer has a 20 year warranty on the gutter guards. Overall, I was happy to pay a little more for the knowledge & quality they provided.

We have been getting a lot of snow here in Niles and it was piling up pretty good on my roof. When I couldn't see my furnace exhaust pipe anymore and had about a foot of snow avalanching over my gutters, I decided having the snow pulled would be a good idea. However, that is not something that a lot of people do! I spent most of Tuesday emailing and texting trying to find help only to be told "No, we don't do that and don't know anyone who does". If they responded at all. I had pretty much given up when Betterway Roofing reached out. "Yes, they can help and can have someone out the next day". Their crew showed up as promised, cleared my roof and even shoveled off my front deck where the snow had piled. Such nice young men. I was so appreciative but then I found out they are from Shipshewana. That's no short trip in good weather, let alone in the conditions we're having. I can't begin to say enough good things about a company who provides that kind of customer service and compassion for a retiree who was starting to panic about snowload. I will definitely use them for any future roofing needs! Hopefully, not for anymore snow, though. Sorry this is so long.
